Mr. Muffin, aka Finny for short, is a Belgian Draft gelding standing a towering 18.2 hands tall. He was simply tag number 1478 when he found himself in a Texas direct ship pen in July 2025. He had been purchased at an auction by a kill buyer who transported him south to be exported for slaughter from a Texas facility. Thankfully Mr. Muffin was seen and intercepted by All Seated in a Barn and we were able to adopt him in August 2025. Mr. Muffin's feet had been terribly neglected but with proper and timely trimming should become healthier as they grow. The scars he has on his face, neck, and shoulders will always be a reminder of the hard work and life he had as a plow horse. At approximately 7 years old, we are proud to have him here as our first rescue and Ambassador of Rex and Roger's Barn.
