Every year thousands of horses from the United States are exported to slaughterhouses in Canada and Mexico. Many of these horses are Belgian Draft horses who are discarded because they are unable to work, require medical treatment, or are deemed disposable by their owners. Here at Rex and Roger's Barn we aspire to rescue and provide sanctuary for these beautiful, abandoned Belgian horses and give them a life filled with proper care, love and peace.

Facilitating education and spreading awareness is an important part of Rex and Roger's Barn. Allowing the public to engage with these special horses is one way in which we foster this goal.
