About Rex and Roger's Barn

Rex and Roger's Barn is a non-profit organization started with the purpose of rescuing and providing sanctuary for Belgian Draft horses. Every year thousands of horses and donkeys end up in American kill pens where they are shipped to Canada and Mexico for slaughter. Sadly, this includes many Belgian Draft horses who have worked their entire lives on farms and are discarded and sold cheaply at auction when they are no longer useful due to age or health problems. These horses are often neglected and placed in life-threatening situations where they find themselves in American kill pens only to be valued for their meat. Rex and Roger's Barn rescues, rehabilitates and provides sanctuary for Belgian Draft horses in need. With your support we can save the lives of these worthy animals and treat them with dignity rather than subject them to slaughter.
